<![CDATA[Character of the nation today is quite alarming so as to make the government a loss and several times changed the curriculum to be able to shape the character of the nation in accordance with Indonesian culture. So should the stress is learning in cultural values, not just focusing on modernization by requiring students to master a foreign language, English for example. By studying the local language does not mean students will be retarded or even not able to follow the development of the era. Precisely with the generation of the nation early on if it was taught the habit of using the local language then the child will be proud to be able to introduce the local language to the outside world through the modernization of the moment. Additionally, when children understand very well about the local wisdom then the child will have a character in accordance with Indonesian culture. Role playing is a way of mastery learning materials through the development of imagination and appreciation of students. Development of imagination and appreciation of the students is done with playing the character of living or inanimate. Counseling children with role-play techniques in this program focuses using the Java language manners. Java language is divided into three levels, namely language ngoko (rough), madya (regular) and krama (smooth). In this language levels, its use varies according to who they are talking to an opponent. Everyday, ngoko used to talk with peers or younger, madya used to talk to the person who is quite formal, and krama used to talk with people who are respected or older. Therefore, the Java language has ethical good language to use and reflect the characteristics of the indigenous culture of Indonesia as a nation east. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the condition of academic self-concept of new students Study Program Guidance and Counseling Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. This research is a kind of quantitative research with descriptive method. The instrument used in this research is academic self-concept scale. Subjects in this study amounted to 53 students of Study Program Guidance and Counseling Universitas Ahmad Dahlan taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis in this research use descriptive statistic with percentage technique. The results showed that 50.9% of students had high academic self-concept, and the remaining 49.1% of students had low academic self-concept. Students with low academic self-concept have average grades below 146.3. The results of this study are useful for lecturers, and college counselors as a consideration to facilitate students in developing positive academic self-concept.]]>

<![CDATA[This article approaches the concept memapakan behavior in dealing with student behavior insdisipliner the victims of divorce. Behavior itself is one wide approach in guidance and counseling to address maladaptife toward adaptive behavior. Behavior approach is the right approach to deal with students who are not disciplined in school. That the students be able to function well in school, without obstacles. Undisciplined behavior is influenced by one factor, namely the problems of internal students, who tend to be on the background of the students as a result of divorce. The research method using descriptive qualitative endekatan with emphasis on spaciousness directly involved. Furthermore, if the assessment has been carried out, the plan can be implemented into the counseling process. Starting contracts counseling, relaxation, modeling, reward and punisment until the follow-up phase.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektifan dari layanan informasi melalui komik edukasi dalam meningkatkan komik edukasi di MI Ma’arif Grabag Magelang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’arif Grabag Magelang dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan rumus wilcoxon. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1) keadaan motivasi belajar siswa MI Ma’arif Grabag I Magelang berada pada taraf sedang dengan nilai 74%, 2) layanan bimbingan dan konseling masih dilakukan oleh guru kelas dan hanya dilakukan pada waktu ada siswa yang bermasalah, 3) layanan informasi melalui komik edukasi efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa MI Ma’arif Grabag I, terbukti dengan asymp sig (2-tailed) untuk diuji 2 sisi adalah 0,000, maka probabilitas menjadi 0,000/2 = 0,000. Saran yang diajukan yaitu agar menyelenggarakan layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan memanfaatkan media yang telah dikembangkan.]]>

<![CDATA[This study purpose to describe the level of loneliness teenagers in orphanages X Padang city in refer of (1) emotional loneliness, (2) social loneliness, (3) existential loneliness, (4) representational loneliness. The kind of research is descriptive research with quantitative methods. The subject of the study was 32 teenagers who lived in the orphanage X. The instrument used was a lonely teenager scale level. Descriptive analysis with a percentage formula to describe the level of adolescent loneliness. The research findings revealed that (1) the level of lonely teenagers in orphanages X as a whole are generally in middle category (47%), (2) the level of emotional loneliness teenagers at the orphanage X in general are in the medium category (38%), ( 3) the level of social loneliness teenagers in orphanages X in general are in the medium category (34%), (4) the level of existential loneliness teenagers in the orphanage X in general are in the low category (41%), and (5) the level of representational loneliness teenagers in the orphanage X in general are in the medium category (31%). The study recommends to caregivers and administrators of institutions to pay more attention and to understand the problems associated with feelings of teenagers in orphanages and more attention to the psychological needs of adolescents as the need for love, attention, adolescent communication with their families and social needs of adolescents as developing social skills of teenagers. And need counseling services to prevent and cope with feelings of loneliness that arise in adolescents who live in an orphanage.]]>

<![CDATA[Family is an important factor in the development of self-confidence, academic and student life success. Some literature has shown that family background, including socioeconomic status, parental involvement, and expectations of parents, influenced the development of students' learning and career development (Weiser and Riggio, 2010). Therefore, based on the above school counselors need to consider to improve interaction and collaboration with parents and trying to develop a positive perception of the students in terms of the students' success. Collaboration is an activity where there is cooperation between the various parties in realizing the goal of education, both parties from both inside and outside the institution. Collaboration in guidance and counseling is the cooperation activities between BK teacher / counselor with a number of parties in order to achieve the purpose of guidance and counseling programs, therefore, need their good collaboration strategy between counselor and parents, especially in terms of developing successful students study]]>

<![CDATA[Pada era digital, manusia dituntut untuk semakin mampu mengembangkan dirinya sesuai dengan potensi yang dimilikinya sehingga penting bagi setiap individu memahami kemampuannya dan juga mampu mengembangkan berbagai keterampilan lainnya. Akan tetapi pada saat ini, adanya kecenderungan siswa yang kurang memahami potensi yang dimilikinya baik karena ketidaktahuannnya atau karena tidak dieksplor atau dikembangkannya potensi-potensi yang dimilikinya sehingga memberikan dampak yang negatif bagi dirinya dalam memilih karir. Oleh karena itu pemahaman, penyadaran dan penerimaan terhadap potensi-potensi yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing individu sangat diperlukan dalam menunjang karir dimasa yang akan datang terlebih dalam menghadapi AFTA atau ASEAN global di tahun 2015. Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan dalam mempersiapkan karir siswa sangat banyak. Adapun salah satu upaya dalam mempersiapkannya yaitu melalui eksplorasi karir. Ekplorasi karir menurut Blustein dalam Wall J. E (1994) adalah aktivitas yang berupaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dunia dirinya dan dunia luar. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam melaksanakan ekplorasi karir ini meliputi tiga langkah yaitu memahami diri dan menilai diri, mengumpulkan informasi tentang karir dan integrasi.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji Pengaruh Intensitas Bermain Game Online Terhadap Perilaku Prokrastinasi Akademik Pada Mahasiswa BK Semester II Angkatan Tahun 2016 Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Bk Semester II Angkatan Tahun 2016 Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta dengan sampel sebanyak 32 Mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi regression adalah sebesar 0,000. Mengacu pada kriteria hasil uji hipotesis maka nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Oleh karena hipotesis penelitian sudah teruji kebenarannya yaitu ada pengaruh intensitas bermain game online terhadap perilaku prokrastinasi akademik pada Mahasiswa BK Semester II angkatan tahun 2016 Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Saran yang diajukan yaitu mahasiswa diharapkan dapat mengurangi intensitas bermain game online agar tidak berperilaku prokrastinasi akademik..Kata kunci: Game online, prokrastinasi akademik]]>

<![CDATA[There is an anxiety to face ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). This is natural reaction when we see our readiness to face competition compared with other ASEAN countries. Such manner already exists since the inception of ASEAN in 1967. The anxiety would be a reasonable thing to the enactment of MEA, considering not all the people know what the MEA is. The survey results indicate that the stakeholder both the central government, local government, academia, and society in this country is still relatively have low understanding and knowledge about the ASEAN Economic community (AEC). It is ironic, other ASEAN countries has been intensely preparing steps needed to face AEC, while the majority of the Indonesian people do not know what it is. Modern life along with science, technology and economic progress experienced by Western nations turned out to have caused various situations of life that does not give happiness and a growing sense of inner emptiness. The counselor existence in the counseling today, should be able to develop its human resources, so it is able to answer the problem to encounter global competition of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Spiritual counseling and guidance counselors as an alternative solution to deal with the AEC which fully loaded with interest and ability/professionalism in various occupations faced.]]>

<![CDATA[The research was conducted in MAN Model Palangkaraya. Qualitative research approaches and case study. Subjects in this study is teacher guidance and counseling 2 (two) people and students 7 (seven) people. Analysis of the data in the research include covering reduction, a data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The purpose of this research is to Knowing Self Disclosure Students In Following Group Counseling. The results showed that self Disclosure refers to the communication behavior in which someone expresses aspects of themselves with personal information, experiences, personal thoughts and personal feelings. The group leader is obliged to convince group members that whatever is discussed in groups counseling will be kept confidential. In group counseling, confidentiality is the basic problem that is most important.]]>
